-
- Version 2.0.8 9 August 1992
-
- Changed size of ANNO chunk written to IFF files to be an even
- number of bytes. This fixes an incompatibility with at least
- one broken program (Wallpaper 1.1) that can't handle odd
- length chunks correctly. See the sixth bulleted rule under
- "Rules for Reader Programs" in the IFF spec: "Do not forget
- to skip the pad byte after every odd-length chunk."
-
- Fixed problem that occasionally showed up when using disk
- cache files and one step dithering.
-
- Fixed problem where some filters would fail to recognize
- input.
-
- Added new style JPEG filter and JPEG exporter. Note that if
- you have a config file from an earlier release, you should
- to edit it by hand to remove the 'MODULE OLDFILTER NAME
- "jpeg2hl" ...' line.
-
- Minor bug fixes to GIF and QRT filters.
-
- Added COMPATIBILITY command.
-
- Enable/disable more gadgets in the output window to reflect
- unsupported combinations of HAM and dithering.
-
- Allow early release of shift key to abort cropping. (This
- means you need to hold the key down during the whole crop.)
-
- Allow REVERT to undo the effect of screen cropping.
-
- Added file overwrite check to config file saves. "Save" will
- now put up a requester before overwriting a file, while
- "Save All" will not. This should help prevent accidentally
- saving a partial config file over your master config file.
-
- This also affects the SAVECONFIG command. It now accepts an
- OVERWRITE keyword to suppress the requester. (If the keyword
- is omitted, unlike the button, the command will always check
- for overwrite, regardless of whether a full or partial config
- file is being saved.)
-
- Version 2.0.7 25 July 1992 (registered release only)
-
- Fixed enforcer hits when loading a full config file that opened
- the color window.
-
- Fixed mouse coordinates for cropping a hi-res screen that was
- scrolled.
-
- Version 2.0.6 22 July 1992
-
- First widely available HamLab Plus release
